Hi, I am Linjie Qiu, an incoming Ph.D. student in the
Internet of Things (IoT) Thrust
at HKUST(GZ),
supervised by
Prof. Xudong Wang
and Prof. Mingming Fan.
I obtained M.Phil. degree from HKUST(GZ), where I worked in the
APEX Lab. Before that, I received my bachelor's degree from
Xiamen University.
Research Goal: To develop efficient, trustworthy, and productive agentic AI for real-world industrial workflows.
Research Interests: My research focuses on Agentic AI, Industrial AI, and Human-AI Collaboration:
1) Industrial Agentic Systems: Agents for real-world industrial workflows.
2) Efficient Agent Architectures: Efficient inference, memory, coordination, and tool use.
3) Trustworthy Enterprise Agents: Secure, private, auditable, and human-supervisable deployment.
Research Question: How can we build production-ready industrial agents that integrate fragmented engineering data and legacy tools while improving productivity, reducing cost and latency, and ensuring secure, verifiable, and human-supervisable operation?
I am recruiting two paid Research Assistants to work with me on Industrial Agentic AI.

[VR Game] Sprayer Simulator. 2023
Inspired by Splatoon and under the support of PICO3, we
tried to create a sprayer painting game using Unity. In
this world, certain objects suddenly lose their color.
Now, armed with the spray gun, you can bring your
imagination to life, explore new frontiers, roam through
different scenes, and restore color to the black and
white world.

This is a 2D horizontal board action game developed by
Unity. Players take on the role of brave warriors
tasked with eliminating unknown monsters. Before facing
each boss, strategic decisions can be made on what
skills to equip based on the provided information.
Properly chosen skills can quickly defeat the boss,
while inappropriate ones will great increase the
difficulty of adventure.
